Prayer Garden

Peaceful Garden of God

The Peaceful Garden of God is a sanctuary of peace and beauty to be used for the dignified and respectful interment of the cremated remains of the deceased. It makes possible the reverent disposal for the earthly remains of the body and is intended for use by Ruhl’s United Methodist Church members and their family as well as our community.

Our Prayer Garden

Only cremated remains will be buried in the Garden, ashes may not be scattered. A donation of $475 will be requested and will be used for maintenance costs. You may choose to purchased a plaque to be placed on the brick wall in the garden and must be purchased through the Garden Ministry at a cost of $125. Prepayment is available.

We invite you to come and visit our Garden and enjoy our water feature as you sit in the gazebo or on a bench placed in the Garden. It truly is a peaceful place where God’s presence is felt.

For more information, or to receive the paper work, please call our Cemetery Association Superintendent, Ted Achey at 717-665-3733 or our church office at 665-3400.
